Dr. Jay Cullinane

Doctor of Chiropractic

Chiropractic is Dr. Jay Cullinane's second career.

After earning a BA from Michigan State University in 1975, he worked in television for eight years. He became a chiropractic patient in 1978 after falling ten feet and landing on the back of his neck. The results he got as a patient inspired his change of career. In 1986, he received his Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.

In 1987, he began practicing in Michigan City, Indiana and later that year opened a practice in Indianapolis. In 1991, he opened St. Cloud Chiropractic in downtown Saint Cloud at 1106 Tenth Street.

He has been a member of the St. Cloud Greater Osceola Chamber of Commerce since 2001 and was honored with the Rookie of the Year award in 2004. In 2006, he organized and sponsored a performance of the play "Twilight at Monticello" (a one man show about Thomas Jefferson) and a reading of the Declaration of Independence at the 2006 Fourth of July celebration in Saint Cloud. As a member of the Fourth of July committee, he has organized, auditioned readers and been a sponsor for what has become the annual reading of the Declaration of Independence.

Dr. Cullinane was also a board member of the St. Cloud Main Street Program from 2006 through 2012. He was voted the St. Cloud Main Street Program's Board Member of the Year in 2006 and 2009.
