Heidelberg pH Diagnostic System
Do you have heartburn, acid reflux or GERD? The problem is most often too little stomach acid, not too much. The Heidelberg test measures the amount of acid your stomach produces. Doctors who perform this test report that in at least 90% of cases there is too little stomach acid being produced. Before taking a drug to reduce stomach acid, this test should be done. Ask your doctor to refer you to a doctor that performs it.
